Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best known for playing roles in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. She has proven her versatility since 2003 by delivering outstanding performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit, 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. Anna's role on Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major breakthrough. It was, however, her character as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's the rights of women) on the biographical All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series will be renewed for another season. Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is set to release by mid-2019.
